I present to You “Smooth Operator” skin for RadioSure. You can see it and comment in my gallery on deviantART.com or here on RadioSure site. This one is for free, cause it’s my first serious work on skinning RadioSure program.

VEk4NO1D! Thanks for such a great work!! It’s a pleasure to see that!
BTW, you are granted with “author” rigths now. So you can edit the posts with your skins and you can add new posts as well! Enjoy!

Now we can easy keep up to date skins with new versions of RadioSure. That’s great.

Thanks for this really nice skin. I see you resized “Stations found” to fit in other languages. But it seems it should be resized a little more to fit in Dutch language.

Tried with RadioSure v1.8.850 Beta and Smooth Operator v1.2.

Oh wait. I see this in the log file:
XMLSettings.cpp, line 333: Error opening XML file
So after removing the XML file everything works well. The skin is OK.

Is that screenshot from vista? I wish to see how it looks on vista OS, cause I use win xp
#8 by TheDutchJewel on April 18, 2009 - 12:07
It is from a Vista skin (Seven Remix XP) on XP.
Here’s a screenshot I made on Vista:

The problem with the too small ‘Stations found’ field is fixed only for the expanded mode. If you start the program in collapsed mode it still exists.

@VEk4NO1D
Thanks so much for this wonderful Skin
@TheDutchJewel
“Stations found” is out of Range x=321; y=59 and it does not exist in the Collapsed-Mode, so you have to set it unvisible:
Open skin2.rsn with an Editor and change 1 to 0 in the Section.

Once again
@VEk4NO1D
Thanks so much for this wonderful Skin
@TheDutchJewel
“Stations found” is out of Range x=321; y=59 and it does not exist in the Collapsed-Mode, so you have to set it unvisible:
Open skin2.rsn with an Editor and change visible = 1 to visible = 0 in the FoundNumber Section.

@Andreas
Maybe I didn’t made myself clear.
If RadioSure starts in expanded mode everything looks fine. Even after switched to collapsed mode and back to expaded mode.
Only if RadioSure starts up in collapsed mode, and switched back to expanded mode, than the “stations found” field is too small in the expanded mode.

TheDutchJewel, I understood well what you said. I got the same Problem before
.
Edit the skin2.rsn as I said above and you will see, that it will fix the Problem.
You can also Download the fixed skin2.rsn here (Just put it in the Skin-Folder):

Visible was already 0 in the FoundNumber Section. Changed also the X and Y values, and also copied your edited skin2.rsn but nothing changed the behaviour of the program.
Thanks anyway.
Change the program to collapsed mode, shut it down, then start it again: still same prob.

Not in the Default Skin. I just Download the newest Version again, but the Visible-Value is set to 1:

So, here is the Result with the Default-Skin:

Here is the Result with the changed Value:

I changed both Versions to collapsed Mode, then I restarted RS and I switched to expanded Mode.
Here is the complete Skin (Maybe there is something wrong in your Version):

I think it don’t depend on skin. Anyway I can’t reproduce that in win xp. Which language You use in RadioSure program?
#17 by VEk4NO1D on April 18, 2009 - 20:59
Thanks Andreas. I will set visible 0 to all parts which don’t exist in collapsed skin2 just in case even if that parts are invisible right now, cause they are out of range…
#18 by andreas on April 18, 2009 - 21:06
I can always reproduce the Problem with FoundNumber-Value = 1
I tried it with the German and the Dutch Language. I am using XP Pro/SP3

Thanks Andreas for your files.
After comparing your skin.rsn and skin2.rsn with the original ones, I got it working. I used not all your changes, ONLY this ones:
skin.org
- : 442 -> 454
- : 112 -> 100
- : 120 -> 132
skin2.org
- : 442 -> 454
- : 112 -> 100
- : 120 -> 132
So no need for me to change the visible values…
Btw, I use the Dutch language on WinXP XP Pro SP3.
Problem fixed.

I see the text between the arrows is missing in my previous post. So here are the changes again:
skin.org
- Filter,x: 442 -> 454
- Filter,width: 112 -> 100
- FoundNumber,width: 120 -> 132
skin2.org
- Filter,x: 442 -> 454
- Filter,width: 112 -> 100
- FoundNumber,width: 120 -> 132
