Seeburg 1000 background music

Postby johnpro2 » 23 Aug 2017, 15:14

The following stream was updated by Fonzy yesterday for Seeburg 1000 background music:
http://74.82.59.197:8351/1?cb=534769.mp3

This link works fine in players such as VLC and will work when pasted into some browsers such as Edge & Firefox,
however will only play Seeburg introduction which lasts about 10 seconds in RadioSure app ...... then loops and nothing else?
Could this be fixed please.

Hi,
the station uploaded by You had folowing stream:
http://player.streamlicensing.com/4977?l&stream_id=9614 (is given link for players at the website)
and that does not work at all in radiosure, so I went to the website : http://www.seeburg1000.com/
and tried there to find a working stream.
You are right , the stream seems to be a intro-tune, it is a mp3 - chunck of music
Now I got b&ack to http://www.seeburg1000.com
I tested all streams they offer for winamp;itunes etc: seems all to be the intro only
http://www.streamlicensing.com/director ... am_id=9614.
There is a webplayer on the site, starting with same intro, but after that it continues, and uses "snippets" = chuncks of music. No player in my posession can play that (not winamp, as they say it should, nor windowsmediaplayer- this kind of streaming is exclusively for webplayers (flash)and uses handshaking for recieving the snippets !. The winamp detects the stream url as a .wma stream, but reloads every 10 seconds , and no sound. VLC does not play the original stream from website, however does play the stream I provided by me in the last fix , and continues,( but in properties it detects thousends of blocks received and format mpg (in fact movieformat)). So it plays in VLC, but we keep a list for RadioSure, not for other playersv.
If you find a solution for RadioSure, ( aside from just copying a URL from a website without testing it in RadioSure), feel free to submit that solution in the station.
Meanwhile I delete the station, for reason: "not playing indicated streams from station, not compatible streams for radiosure"

Ok ..thanks Fonzy for all your back ground work. Much appreciated. Seeburg 1000 use to work but then stopped some months ago for reasons unknown.
RadioCoast is now working on RadioSure and it streams Seegurg1000 music ....so all is is still good :)

Mirz gave me some info about the station Seeburg 1000:
"Suddenly the stream http://74.82.59.197:8351/1?cb=*.mp3 works and continues after the intro...., do not know why, but assume the server changed someting. Put station back on pending."

I tested the station, and indeed , keeps streaming now, so I approve station
