'Favorites' display problem

Post by WRS » 10 Feb 2010, 21:00

Part of the 'Favorites' list doesn't show sometimes, particularly when RS is placed anywhere above the center of the screen. In that case the lower part of the list disappears off the bottom of the screeen, so I can only see the top part of the list.

My Favorites list contains about 30 entries, and my default font size is 120dpi (Rt.click on Desktop, Settings, Advanced, DPI setting), in case that helps resolve the problem. I found this to be a problem on versions 2.0.886 and 2.1.906.

Can RS be made to not be affected by changes in font size?

I tried to upload a screenshot but got the error message:
Could not upload attachment to ./files/106_460ab3530a07dadc0d1ccd78105abb8c.

Anyway, the problem exists on XPsp1 and XPsp3, 1400x1050 and 1024x600 screens.

Screenshots here:

Thanks for looking into this.

Unfortunately this is a bug of windows XP, because it just standard menu... In win7 there is no such issue anymore...

Occasionally I run across a program that has a problem with 'non-standard' default fonts, but the programmers have always been able to resolve the issue with a simple code change. But, generally, I don't have this problem with other programs. Is this not related to the font? I wish there was a way to fix this since XP is still widely used.

Otherwise, RS is very nice. Thanks.

Hey

Admin - What is your name? :!:

I have noticed that when you tick the hide to taskbar option in the test version 933 of RadioSure, the ram usage drops to around 2,500kb and this is much better than AIMP 2
