Copying song names from the songs history window

Post by radyocu » 03 Apr 2019, 19:13

Hi.

Is there a way to copy song names on the played songs (songs history) window? Using right click or Ctrl+C doesn't work. I also checked RadioSure.xml file for song names, but couldn't find anything.

There is no way, except for using a screen grabber, but then you get a picture, not text... altough, if you make a snapshot of the whole screen of history, and you submit that to a "OCR" programm like "Readiris" to name one, then you can convert it to plain text file
This is for a range of songs
You can copy the current playing song to clipboard (and paste it in an open file), by using "right-click/copy title to clipboard/" (title is song name obvious, I always tought it was the radiostation's title :-) )
Just tried it for myself
Of course, if you record continuesly songs, then you get a list of song names and tags in the folder you store the songs ! Just create a directory listing then (exist special programs for it), or "rename", then "copy "the line, and submit no other name but just discard rename. The name is then on clipboard

I see. Using OCR programs for this simple task doesn't seem practical. I think I'll keep typing them manually. :)

Thanks for the reply.

There is a way to view & print radio station playlists.

Use Online Radio Box web site (https://onlineradiobox.com) to find the radio station from specific countries.
It shows you the track list for the past 7 days.
I hope you find this info helpfull.

Thanks. I'll look into it.

BTW, I've just tried "ABBYY Screenshot Reader" for this purpose and it worked fine.

It does screen capturing, OCR and copying to clipboard all at once in several seconds. It also has a window detection feature which makes selecting the songs history easier.

This application appeared to not do anything. I could not determine how to use it. It doesn't come with any instructions.

Curious to know why all the file sharing links instead of a free, no hassle link from a Google server. Are they not internationally accepted?

My antivirus blocked openload.co as a threat. I don't want to offend anyone, but it has been my experience from the earliest days of transferring files by computer before and after the beginnings of the internet, that it is always suspect when multiple URL's are given for downloading a file.

Clickbait: The poster makes a commission for each time the page is accessed. (Additional commissions are added with each pop-up)
Viral infection: Spreading malware as quickly as possible through multiple links.

This is the file being offered.
